Ulanie Wilson is a wife, mother to three young boys, and the creator and CEO of Planted Hair Care. In 2011, she began experimenting with natural methods that would help restore her hair which had been severely damaged by relaxers. Ulanie experimented with ayurvedic herbs and other natural plant-based ingredients and tested her concoctions on herself, willing family members and friends. Her efforts led to the creation of her first haircare line, Ulanie’s Hair Solutions. Through the use of her own plant-based products, she was able to grow her then relaxed hair to almost waist length. Ulanie later successfully transitioned to natural hair using her own products. She made the difficult decision to place her haircare line on pause to start a family and become acquainted with motherhood. After her long hiatus, Ulanie is excited to share her knowledge and love for healthy haircare with the world.
